According to this project, Habaş plans to build a hydrogen production and filling facility. The company has submitted its Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) application file to the ministry and the process has been initiated.
The project, which has an investment cost of approximately TL 215 million, will be realized in Izmir and aims to produce 1000 m³ of hydrogen per hour. The hydrogen produced will be used in Habaş's cold rolling mill as well as being offered to the market.
Construction work on the project is expected to be completed within 6 months. This step will not only contribute to Habaş's growth strategies, but also stands out as an example of a sustainable approach to renewable energy sources.
