86.8% of the vehicles produced in Sakarya were exported

In Sakarya, large-scale activities continue to exist in the fields of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, machinery, air conditioning industry, chemicals, steel, electricity and electronics, which are among the leading sectors of the industry. However, the automotive sector left all these sectors behind and succeeded in exporting 86.8 percent.

Sakarya, which has a share of 20.6 percent, has sold 8 out of every 10 vehicles it produces abroad. Thanks to these sales, a foreign currency inflow of 1 billion 201 million 731 thousand dollars was brought to the country's economy.
