Gerdau 111 Milyon Dolar'a Hisse Aldı

Brezilyalı çelik üreticisi Gerdau, Siderúrgica Latino-Americana (Silat) hisselerinin % 96.4'ünü İspanyol Hierros Añón'dan son dört yılın elden çıkarma isteğinin sonunda 110.8 milyon dolara satın almayı kabul etti.
Silat, kuzeydoğu Brezilya eyaleti Ceará'da bulunan Caucaia'da yer alıyor ve yıllık 600.000 tonluk uzun çelik haddeleme kapasitesine sahiptir. Şirket ağırlıklı olarak inşaat demiri ve filmaşin üretiyor.
Çelik üreticisi 27 Kasım Çarşamba günü yaptığı açıklamada, “Satın alma, Gerdau’nun Brezilya pazarında daha iyi müşteri hizmeti sağlama stratejisinin bir parçası olarak görünüyor.” dedi.
