A shipping company active in the Iranian market has circulated a fresh list of firm open dry bulk vessel positions for cargoes from Bandar Abbas and Chabahar to China.
According to the latest availability, four geared vessels ranging from 32,000 dwt to 53,000 dwt, built between 1999 and 2005, are open for loading between 8 July and the end of August. While the first two vessels are positioned at the Persian Gulf (PG), one of the 53,000-dwt units specifically prefers loading from Chabahar.
Freight indications for Supramax vessels remain unchanged from previous assessments, with rates reported at $37/mt to North China, $36/mt to South China, and $38/mt for China River ports. Market participants also noted that shipowners have shown limited interest in loading from Bandar Imam Khomeini (BIK), with the latest available tonnage primarily focused on Bandar Abbas and Chabahar loadings.
The vessel positions were shared by a shipping company that is a member of the relevant freight market network. Interested charterers are encouraged to contact the company directly for further details and negotiations.
