In the latest update from SteelRadar, data reveals a mixed trend in rebar prices across major manufacturers in Egypt as of early April 2025. The price list for March 31 and April 7 shows fluctuations in both Egyptian Pounds (EGP) and U.S. Dollars (USD), reflecting ongoing market dynamics.
The Egyptian rebar market has shown resilience amid global economic pressures. Recent trends indicate that rebar prices in Egypt have ranged between EGP 37,700 and EGP 40,700 per ton, with major players like Ezz Steel maintaining top positions. This stability is crucial for the construction sector, which relies heavily on predictable material costs for budgeting and project planning.
Globally, the steel rebar market is projected to grow significantly, driven by expanding construction activities and infrastructure development. The integration of modern technologies and a focus on sustainability are expected to further boost demand for durable materials like steel rebars.
Several leading manufacturers, including Ezz Steel , Suez Steel , Egyptian Steel , and Beshay , reported a decline in rebar prices between March 31 and April 7.
For instance, Ezz Steel’s price dropped by 8 USD/MT (from 754to746), while Suez Steel and Egyptian Steel also experienced similar declines.

Companies like Madina Steel , Arco Steel , and Al Garhy saw slight decreases in USD pricing, while others such as El Ola Steel , Mitad Helwan , and October Steel recorded minor increases.
