EVRAZ invests in the Digital Metallurgy Center in Sibiu

With the support of Evraz, the Siberian State Industrial University (Sibiu) founded the Center for Digital Metallurgy. The university hosts a virtual and augmented reality (VR and AR) laboratory, as well as a metallurgical production management process modeling laboratory, where specialists can observe and participate in real production processes.

The technical director of Evraz noted that introducing students to metallurgical equipment and production processes using 3D modeling and IT technology will definitely increase the qualification level of future metallurgists, thereby increasing the company's core competitiveness.
