EU extends duties on imports of hot-rolled flat products from China

Eurofer, the European steel association, requested a reinvestigation in 2022.

Compensation rates are 4.6% for Zhangjiagang Hongchang Plate and Zhangjiagang GTA Plate, 7.8% for Handan Iron & Steel Group Han-Bao, Hesteel Tangshan and Hesteel Chengde. For other Chinese producers and exporters, these rates range from 17.1 per cent to 35.9 per cent.

Anti-dumping duties are applied to deliveries from just over 10 Chinese companies: Angang, Zhangjiagang, Wuhan Steel and some enterprises of the Hebei Iron & Steel group. The size of the tariffs ranges from 10.3 per cent to 31.3 per cent. These duties do not apply to other Chinese companies.
