Estonia has imposed restrictions on the import of Russian goods, including steel products and pig iron, for both natural persons and legal entities, from January the 9th, 2023, when the transition period of sanctions imposed by the EU on a number of consumer goods originating in Russia expires.
Imports from Russia to the EU will also be banned as of today.
Steel products and pig iron are among the prohibited items, as well as many consumer goods.
It was reported that the products that violate the ban during customs will be confiscated.
