Erdemir Ereğli Demir Çelik Factories T.A.Ş. (EREGL) decided not to distribute dividends in order to maintain healthy cash flow during last year's investment period. However, this year, brokerage firms decided to distribute cash dividends despite expectations that dividends would not be distributed.
Erdemir, which announced that it would distribute cash dividends of 0.50 TL gross and 0.45 TL net per share, with the decision taken by the board of directors on February 28, received the approval of the partners at the General Assembly held on March 28, 2024. With this decision, the dividend date was finalized.
The right exercise date for EREGL dividend payments has been determined as April 16, 2024. Since dividends will be transferred to accounts in cash on day T+2, cash balances will become available on April 18, 2024. To be eligible to receive dividends, it will be sufficient to own the stock as of the close of the session on April 15.
