Erciyas Steel Pipe signs steel pipe production contract worth approximately $8 million

According to the company’s statement submitted to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), activities will be carried out within the scope of the project to expand the Aksaz Naval Base, one of Turkey’s most important military bases.

Under the contract, a total of 210 coated steel pile pipes, each 60 meters in length, corresponding to 12,600 meters in total, will be produced. The shipment of the produced pipes is planned for the third quarter of 2026.

It was stated that the project is of strategic importance as it will support infrastructure capable of accommodating TCG Anadolu, the planned national aircraft carrier MUGEM, and next-generation submarines.

In the company’s statement, it was emphasized that the Aksaz Naval Base is one of the most important bases strengthening Turkey’s deterrence and operational capability at sea in the Eastern Mediterranean and the Aegean.

In its disclosure to KAP, Erciyas Steel Pipe stated that the Aksaz Naval Base is “of critical importance for Turkey’s sovereignty at sea within the scope of the Blue Homeland doctrine,” adding that the project also includes a modern submarine dock and advanced military infrastructure.

It is anticipated that the delivery of the pipes to be produced under the contract, valued at approximately $8 million, will be completed in the third quarter of 2026.
