Egypt's rebar market reports stability with slight price adjustments

The latest price list for rebar from various manufacturers in Egypt has been released, showing mostly stable prices with minor fluctuations. According to SteelRadar analysis, the prices for rebar as of March 5, 2025, compared to February 17, 2025, have seen minimal changes.

The latest price list for rebar from various manufacturers in Egypt has been released, showing mostly stable prices with minor fluctuations. According to SteelRadar analysis, the prices for rebar as of March 5, 2025, compared to February 17, 2025, have seen minimal changes.

Ezz Steel and Suez Steel have maintained their prices at EGP 38,200 per metric ton (MT) and USD 753 per MT. Egyptian Steel also kept its prices steady at EGP 38,100 per MT and USD 751 per MT. However, Beshay Steel saw a slight decrease of USD 2 per MT, bringing its price to USD 751 per MT.
El Marakbby Steel, Madina Steel, Arco Steel, and Al Garhy Steel all reported no changes in their prices, maintaining their rates at EGP 36,000 per MT and USD 710 per MT, EGP 35,500 per MT and USD 700 per MT, EGP 35,750 per MT and USD 705 per MT, and EGP 36,000 per MT and USD 710 per MT, respectively.

Al Ashry Steel and Al Komy Steel experienced a decrease in their prices, with Al Ashry Steel dropping by USD 8 per MT to USD 700 per MT and Al Komy Steel decreasing by USD 8 per MT to USD 651 per MT. Misr Steel saw no change, maintaining its price at EGP 33,500 per MT and USD 661 per MT.

El Ola Steel and Mitad Helwan also reported stable prices, with El Ola Steel at EGP 32,500 per MT and USD 641 per MT, and Mitad Helwan at EGP 32,700 per MT and USD 645 per MT. Midi Steel and Al Arabeya Steel both saw a decrease of USD 6 per MT, bringing their prices to USD 635 per MT and USD 645 per MT, respectively.

Ma'adi Steel and Bianco reported no changes, maintaining their prices at EGP 34,000 per MT and USD 671 per MT, and EGP 33,000 per MT and USD 641 per MT, respectively. Antar Steel, Al Gyoshi Steel, and Stars Steel also kept their prices steady at EGP 32,500 per MT and USD 641 per MT, EGP 33,000 per MT and USD 651 per MT, and EGP 33,000 per MT and USD 651 per MT, respectively.
October Steel reported no change in its prices, maintaining its rate at EGP 32,500 per MT and USD 641 per MT.

Overall, the rebar market in Egypt remains stable with only minor fluctuations, indicating a steady demand and supply balance in the construction industry.
