Egypt extends Turkey's anti-dumping duties

Egypt extended AD duties on steel products from 3 countries.

The Egyptian Ministry of Trade and Industry has issued a decree that decided to extend the anti-dumping (AD) duties imposed in 2017 on steel imports from Ukraine, China and Turkey for another 12 months.

The scope of steel products includes bars, coils, posts and rebar.

The new decision came into effect on June 6, 2022 and will be reviewed in a 12-month period.

The AD tax rate for Ukraine was 17.2%-27%, while for China and Turkey it was 29% and 7-22.8%, respectively.
