Inventories at Chinese steel mills continue to rise in mid-August.
According to data from the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA), in mid-August 21, steel inventory of major steel companies totaled 14,9342 mt, up 312,200 tons, or 2.13 percent, from the previous month.
Inventory increased by 1.12 million tons compared to the end of the previous month and increased by 8.11% compared to the beginning of the year. Steel stock increased by 8.81% compared to the same period of the previous year and increased by 1.2 million tons.
