On an annual basis, Turkey's stainless steel imports decreased to 2,367 million tons in the January-December period. This means a decrease of 30.88% compared to the previous year. In the same period, exports reached 4.58 million tons. This was a decrease of 15.66% compared to the previous year.

such as automotive, white goods, construction and machinery. This decline in the market may negatively affect the production and supply chains of these sectors.

The main reasons for the decline in stainless steel imports include increasing prices, global economic uncertainties and problems in the supply chain. The reasons for the decline in exports include increasing competition and global economic uncertainties.
