According to statistics, China imported about 38,900 tonnes of stainless steel scrap in March this year, up 13.4% m-o-m and 852.8% y-o-y.
In the first three months of this year, China's cumulative imports of stainless steel scrap amounted to nearly 103,000 tonnes, a significant increase of 1,336.5% y-o-y.
