China is cautious on quota usage: Pipe and 4B metallic coated sheets reached full capacity

According to SteelRadar's weekly EU quota review, China's product quotas for the April 1-June 30 quota period have been filled at a slow pace. While some product groups have filled their quotas, filling is slow for some products.

Although China used 126,603 tons of 4B metallic coated sheets and 7,971 tons of pipes (other welded) at full capacity, it used 99.25 percent of 6,910 tons of sheet pile, 45.27 percent of 40,972 tons of pipes (other seamless), 44.21 percent of 1,900 tons of railway materials and 43.03 percent of 33,897 tons of 3B silicon steel.

Utilization of other product groups was below 20%.
