Çemtaş announced that its unconsolidated net profit was 65 million 378 thousand 970 TL in the first three months of 2024. The company had announced a loss of 65 million 189 thousand 664 TL in the same period of the previous year.
At the end of 2023, the company made an annual profit of 95 million 51 thousand 528 TL.
In the first three months of the year, Çemtaş increased its billet production by 28.7% y-o-y to 45,697 metric tons. In the same period, finished product production increased by 23.6% to 41,648 metric tons.
In the first quarter, sales to the domestic market increased by 15.2% to 30,233 metric tons. Export sales rose by 37.8% to 11,266 mt.
