One of the country's largest cement factories will be established in Iraq in partnership with the Turkish company Zodiac and General Cement Company.

Signatures were signed to establish a cement factory with a capacity of 1.8 million tons in the north-west of the country.

It will be an important investment project for the trade partnership of Iraq and Turkey, which focuses on construction in the restructuring process.

The annual production volume of the cement plant, which will be established with modern technology in the Hammam Al-Alil Complex in the Nineveh Region, which includes Mosul, will be 1.8 million tons.

The facility will use natural gas energy and employment opportunity will be created for 320 people.

The Zodiac company will assume the responsibility for the technical engineering part of the facility and will become a 50 percent partner of the facility.
