Canada to extend tariff exemption for Ukraine

The Canadian Department of Finance has declared the extension of the Ukraine Goods Remission Order until June 9, 2024. This decision guarantees that Ukrainian goods, such as steel and in-quota supply-managed goods, can still be imported into Canada without tariffs. By implementing this measure, Canada continues to provide support to the Ukrainian economy.

Initially implemented on June 9, 2022, for a duration of one year, the Ukraine Goods Remission Order temporarily exempts Ukrainian imports from customs duties, anti-dumping duties, and countervailing duties.
