In April this year, Brazil's pig iron imports amounted to 419,200 tons. This figure was 212,900 tons in April.
Exports to the US stood at 252,200 tons/$492/ton, to the Netherlands at 64,700 tons/$518/ton, to Turkey at 54,800 tons/$483/ton, and to Asia at 15,400 tons/$510/ton.
