Brazil's iron ore exports fell 0.84 percent year on year in October, the country's Ministry of Economy said on Wednesday (November 3rd).
Iron ore exports decreased from 31.12 million tons in October 2020 to 30.86 million tons.
Average daily volumes also decreased by 0.84% to 1.54 million tons from 1.56 million tons in the same comparison. October had 20 working days in 2020 as well as in 2021.
Despite all this, revenue from iron ore exports increased year-on-year in October. The economy ministry said revenue reached $3.21 billion.
