Brazil continues to impose AD tax on China's high carbon steel wire

On June 19, 2023, Brazil's Secretariat of Foreign Trade (SECEX) announced its final decision on the first anti-dumping (AD) sunset inspection for high carbon steel wire originating from China and decided to continue to impose a five-year AD tax.

Duty rates range between US$124.33/tonne to US$563.77/tonne for these products from China.

The products in question are listed as MERCOSUR Common's products classified under tax numbers 7217.10.19 and 7217.10.90.
