Borusan Berg Pipe is negotiating for $550 million worth of pipe sales in the US

Borusan Berg Pipe, Borusan Boru's US subsidiary, has begun negotiations for the sale of large-diameter pipes worth approximately US$550 million.

Borusan Berg Pipe is negotiating for $550 million worth of pipe sales in the US

The company announced to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) that negotiations underway as part of an ongoing project are continuing.

In a statement from Borusan Boru, it was noted that significant developments on the matter will continue to be shared with the public within the framework of legal regulations. If the agreement materializes, the sale is expected to make a significant contribution to the company’s 2026 revenue.

On April 13, 2023, Borusan Mannesmann acquired Berg Pipe, known for its two facilities in Florida and Alabama, for $162 million. This move was seen as part of the company’s goal to become a strong player in the North American energy pipe market.

The cooperation between Borusan Mannesmann and Salzgitter Mannesmann began in 1998. During the partnership, the Vobarno plant in Italy and the production base in Romania were established. However, Borusan decided to move forward independently in steel production and ended the partnership in September 2023.
