BE Group opens representative office in China

The representative office aims to purchase from China and Southeast Asia and to monitor the growth of the steel market in this region.

Mr Hakan Jeppson, President and CEO of BE Group, said: "Developments in China are increasingly impacting our business. With our base in Shanghai, we are able to establish important links with suppliers in China and the rest of Asia. This is the main reason for opening an office in China."

The office will assist with purchases from China and Southeast Asia and monitor developments in the steel markets in these regions.
