Avrasya Tüneli'nin 850 Metresi Delindi

Kazlıçeşme ile Göztepe arasını 15 dakikaya indirmesi öngörülen Avrasya Tüneli Projesi'nde (İstanbul Boğazı Karayolu Tüp Geçişi) tünel açma makinesi 'Tırtıl' ile İstanbul Boğazı tabanının yaklaşık 25 metre altından toprağı kazması ve iç çeperlerin oluşturulmasıyla 850 metreye ulaşıldı. Toplamda 14.6 kilometrelik uzunluğa sahip olacak proje, İstanbul Boğazı'nın 106.4 metre derinliğinde yer alacak.Deniz altında 3.34 kilometresi olan Avrasya Tüneli'nde kazılacak 2.5 kilometrelik mesafe kaldı. Avrasya Tüneli geçiş ücreti, otomobiller için 4 dolar+KDV ve minibüsler için 6 dolar+KDV tutarı karşılığı Türk Lirası olacak.
