According to data compiled from the World Steel Association (Worldsteel); Austria's crude steel production increased by 4.5% to 562,260 tons in November 2024 compared to the previous month, October, while remaining at the same level compared to November last year.
This figure increased by 4.6% to 119.9 million tons in the January-November period of 2024 compared to the same period last year. Austria ranked 23rd in the world crude steel ranking with its crude steel production figure.
Total production of EU (27) countries in November increased by 3.9% y-o-y to 10.7 million tons. EU (other) countries produced 3.4 million tons of crude steel in the month, decreased 5.5%.
