Australia has initiated the second sunset review of its anti-dumping (AD) measures on hot-rolled structural steel sections from Japan, South Korea, Thailand, and Taiwan. The review, requested by OneSteel Manufacturing Pty Ltd, will run from October 1, 2022, to September 30, 2023, with an injury investigation period from October 1, 2019 to September 30, 2023.
The products involved are under HS codes 7216.31.0030, 7216.32.0031, 7216.33.0032, 7216.40.0033, 7228.70.0011, and 7228.70.0012. The commission is expected to issue a statement of essential facts by March 11, 2024, and submit its final report to the Minister for Industry and Science by April 25, 2024.
