ArcelorMittal, a leading steel manufacturer in the world and the largest steel mill in Europe, announced to raise its prices of hot-rolled coil (HRC) by EUR 100/ton, effective from March 16. The price adjustment was to reflect continuously rising energy and raw material costs.
The current new price is targeted at EUR 1,400/ton for HRC, EUR 1,500/ton for cold-rolled coil (CRC), and EUR 1,550 for hot-dip galvanized (HDG) steel. The price of CRC and HDG was increased by EUR 100/ton compared to the offer last week.
Since the Russia-Ukraine war, ArcelorMittal has raised its price three times, a total increase of EUR 300.
