The largest steel and mining company in Ukraine stopped producing steel and rolled products on June 6 in order to use less water since the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant explosion had reduced service water supply by more than 60%.
The company is also exploring alternative process water options. The resumption of operation of some rolling mills will depend on water consumption, while some mills may resume operation in part.
