ArcelorMittal decreases production activities at its Romanian plant

Approximately 600 affected employees at ArcelorMittal's Hunedoara plant are to be paid 75% of their salaries.

ArcelorMittal Hunedoara's losses in the first nine months more than doubled, reportedly totaling EUR 16 million. Market capitalization decreased by 3.45% to EUR 11 million.

ArcelorMittal previously announced that it is considering the possibility of closing its Reims and Denis centers in France as part of the company's restructuring process. The company also plans to close its warehouse in Olpe, Germany, by mid-2025.
