ArcelorMittal Tubular Products Al Jubail has made a substantial investment to support Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 and boost the growth of the energy sector. As part of this investment, the company is expanding its seamless steel pipe production capacity with an additional 200,000 tons per year through a heating system upgrade. Additionally, the OCTG Premium and High-End Premium connection finishing capacity will increase by 150,000 tons annually.
OCTG (Oil Country Tubular Goods) refers to the specialized pipes and connection equipment used in the drilling, production, and protection processes of oil and gas wells. These products play a crucial role in stabilizing wells and transporting oil and gas to the surface.
This strategic investment aims to contribute to the transformation of Saudi Arabia’s energy sector while providing innovative solutions to meet the growing demands of the region. Company officials highlighted that this investment will strengthen ArcelorMittal's leadership position in the MENA region and play a significant role in Saudi Arabia’s journey to becoming a global energy hub.
