The Liaoning Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology has issued an announcement regarding the capacity replacement plan for the green and low-carbon transformation of Anshan Iron and Steel Group’s No. 4 blast furnace.
According to the announcement, the plan was prepared within the framework of the “Implementation Measures for Capacity Replacement in the Iron and Steel Industry.”
The project envisages carrying out a green and low-carbon renovation of Anshan Iron and Steel Group’s No. 4 blast furnace.
The competent authority stated that the capacity replacement plan has been made available for public review in accordance with the requirements of the relevant regulations. The plan will be open to public comments and review for 15 working days from the date of publication of the announcement.
