Alcoa Corp. reported that it has signed an 8-year agreement with Emirates Global Aluminum (EGA) for the supply of alumina. The agreement will be effective in 2024.
The aim of the agreement is to supply 15.6 million tons of smelter-grade alumina from its Western Australia operation.
The agreement will account for a significant portion of Alcoa's annual third-party alumina sales and will make Alcoa the largest third-party alumina supplier to EGA.
