In September, at the Dnipro Metallurgical Plant (DMZ), coke production amounted to 20.9 thousand tons, a 19% decrease compared to August 2023. However, rolled steel production increased by 97.4%, and coke production increased by 61.3% compared to the same month last year.
In September, DMZ produced the SVP-33 mine rack and R-34 mine rails at rolling mill №1. The plant's specialists produced mine racks and shaped rolled products at rolling mill No. 2.
At the coke-chemical plant, the production of blast furnace coke for steel plants was increased, coal coke and chemical products were produced.
From January to September 2023, DMZ produced 82.6 thousand tons of rolled steel, a 82.4% increase compared to the same period in 2022. In the first nine months, coke production increased by 36.2% to 219 thousand tons compared to the previous year.
