The National Steel Company of Algeria (SNS) announced that its subsidiary, SNC Metal Spa, has signed a cooperation memorandum with the Belarus-based AMKODOR Group and its subsidiary AMKODOR-MOJA. The signing took place on December 1, 2025, during the Algerian–Belarusian Economic Forum held at the Algerian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The memorandum aims to enhance cooperation between companies from both countries in technical and industrial fields. The agreement includes the modernization and development of various facilities, as well as the implementation of metal silo projects built in line with advanced standards. The cooperation also covers improving production technologies and promoting knowledge and experience sharing within relevant projects.
In its statement, SNS noted that the memorandum will open the door to new initiatives, particularly in agricultural and storage infrastructure projects, and help develop solutions aligned with local needs. The company added that this partnership will benefit local producers and support ongoing projects across related sectors.
