72 Steel Group plans to build a rebar plant in Pennsylvania on the former site of J&L Steel's Aliquippa plant. The plant is valued at approximately US$218 million.
The company expects the plant's annual output to reach 500,000 tons and to produce steel sections in different shapes, such as channels, flats, angles, plates, squares, rounds and universal beams, while mainly producing rebar.
