According to the statement made by Döktaş Dökümcülük Ticaret ve Sanayi A.Ş. (DOKTA), it was stated that the company cast the first aluminum engine block produced on the Low Pressure Casting machine with molds produced by high-tech 3D printer within the scope of Continuous Product Development studies in Manisa Organized Industrial Zone Aluminum Casting facilities. Döktaş stated that it continues to transform its strong R&D and engineering structure into new products using high technologies.
The official information made by the company to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) was as follows:
“As part of our company's Continuous Product Development efforts in our Manisa Organized Industrial Zone Aluminum Casting facilities, the first aluminum engine block produced on a Low Pressure Casting machine was cast using molds produced on a high-tech 3D printer.
