Türkiye rebar prices increased

Supply shortages and rising raw material costs, combined with production stoppages at factories, have led to regional price increases.

Türkiye rebar prices increased

Rebar prices in Istanbul, İzmir, Karabük, İskenderun, and across Türkiye showed an upward trend during the week of November 17–21. Fluctuations in scrap and billet prices, combined with supply shortages at factories, triggered price increases on the producer side.

Prices in the İzmir region rose by USD 5 to trade at USD 560/ton. Factory-exit prices in the Marmara region ranged between USD 570–580/ton. Due to supply issues, production interruptions are occurring, and stock shortages are deepening throughout the region. This problem is expected to worsen next week.

Similar supply constraints persist in the Karabük region, where warehouse-exit prices are around USD 580/ton. In İskenderun, where prices remained flat last week, prices increased by USD 10 this week to reach USD 570/ton. The main reasons for the rise were supply shortages and increased raw material costs.

Spot rebar prices by region as evaluated by www.steelradar.com on November 20, 2025:

  • Istanbul rebar price: 29,700 TRY

  • İzmir rebar price: 28,300 TRY

  • Karabük rebar price: 29,500 TRY

  • Payas rebar price: 29,000 TRY
