VSW steel pipe shipments decreased

In November, railway shipments of steel pipes by the Vyksa Metallurgical Plant (VMZ JSC, Nizhny Novgorod Region, part of the United Metallurgical Company, OMK JSC, Moscow) amounted to 143.4 thousand tons. Compared to the previous month, shipment volumes decreased by 0.1%, and on an annualized basis - by 2%. 

In general, for the period from January to November, shipment volumes reached 1.43 million tons, which is 13% lower than last year. About 5% of products were exported.

It should be noted that in the structure of shipments approximately 45% are large-diameter pipes. This year the reduction in supplies of these products amounted to 23%.
