Türkiye's iron ore imports increased by 18% in June

According to data compiled by SteelRadar from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), Türkiye's iron ore imports in June increased by 18% y/y to 1.108.396 tons from 938.888 tons. Compared to the previous month of May, it increased by 79.1%.

Total iron ore imports for the January-June period decreased by 11.2% from 5,419,648 tons to 4,809,802 tons.

Türkiye imported the most iron ore from Brazil with 811,251 tons in June, followed by Ukraine with 162,870 tons, Uzbekistan with 156,690 tons and Russian Federation with 38,442 tons.
