Under the leadership of ÇİB Chairman Adnan Aslan, 36 representatives from 24 Turkish companies met with 60 Romanian firms in Bucharest, holding nearly 550 bilateral business meetings.
During the meetings, Turkish steel exporters explored new business opportunities with importers from Romania and neighboring countries. The program was seen as an important step toward strengthening trade cooperation between Türkiye and Romania.
The delegation was visited by H.E. Özgür Kıvanç Altan, Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Romania, along with Commercial Counsellors Hasan Oktay Duygun and Sertaç Güner. In his remarks, Ambassador Altan emphasized the importance of developing trade relations between the two countries and noted that the strong position of the Turkish steel industry in the Romanian market would contribute to mutual economic growth.
As a result of the meetings, Turkish companies reportedly established valuable connections to expand their partnerships in Romania and build lasting relationships across regional markets.
