According to statistics from the USA Department of Commerce (USDOC), the US exported around 50,400 tons of cold-rolled coils (CRC) in December 2021, decreasing by 4.3% compared to the previous month while hiking by nearly 54% from the same month a year ago.
Among them, the exports to Mexico accounted for the largest proportion, totaling roughly 38,000 tons, a month-on-month increase of 3.9% and a year-on-year hike of 75.7%. Canada ranked second with around 11,500 tons, and the exports to other countries were less than 1,000 tons.
During the period, the export value was around US$64 million, up by 1.9% month on month and soaring by 91.9% year on year.
