The growth of pipe production in Ukraine in the first and third quarters of 2023 amounted to 5.1%

In January-September 2023, the dynamics of pipe production by individual enterprises remained multidirectional. However, overall the results of this period are positive. Meanwhile, the blockade of the Ukrainian-Polish border that began in early November 2023 became a colossal challenge for the industry. Indeed, since the beginning of the special military operation, the main route for transporting goods from Ukraine has been the railway to the countries of the European Union. Now many trucks with pipes are still stuck in traffic jams, and all delivery deadlines for products to European customers have been missed. Moreover, if the blockade spreads to other Eastern European countries, almost all pipe factories located in the front-line regions will be forced to stop production in mid-December.
