The previous record of 17,400 tonnes, set in 2024, was exceeded by 3.4%. The company noted that zinc coating improves the corrosion resistance of its products. Hot-dip galvanized pipes with an anti-corrosion layer last 2 to 2.5 times longer compared with conventional pipes, supporting demand.
The company also highlighted digitalization efforts. A smart monitoring system based on artificial intelligence and machine vision has been implemented at LPC-8. The system recognizes pipes of different diameters and counts them with 99.6% accuracy, serving as a tool to improve production control and customer service.
