The Ministry of Trade and Industry of India has decided to include iron and steel, chemicals and pharmaceuticals in the RoDTEP program on Exported Products, effective from 15 December 2022 to 30 September 2023. Accordingly, the aforementioned sectors will be able to receive tax refunds between December 15, 2022 and September 30, 2023.
The mentioned sectors were excluded from the tax rebate program last year, and as a result, their export statistics fell. Re-incorporated at the request of the local steel industry. The government seems determined to increase exports again.
