Iranian media reported that major production facilities in the country were targeted in operations allegedly linked to Israel and the United States. According to these reports, the Foolad Kavir (Kavir Steel) plant located in the Aran and Bidgol regions of Isfahan province, as well as the Rohina Steel company in Dezful, were struck.
The alleged targets were said to include not only state-owned enterprises but also private and regional businesses. Claims that Rohina Steel sustained between 90% and 100% damage were viewed as a significant loss for the regional steel supply chain. Given that steel is a key raw material in the production of missiles, UAVs, and armored vehicles, such reports led to interpretations that the attacks were directly aimed at the defense industry.
According to information obtained by SteelRadar from its sources in Iran, the verification process regarding these reports has now been completed. Based on the latest data received from the facilities, no serious damage occurred at the plants. The intended targets of the strikes were reportedly military barracks located in the vicinity of the factories.
