According to the statement made by the Japanese manufacturer, Toyota will not be able to meet its production target for the 2021 fiscal year, which will end in March.
Accordingly, the comprehensive 9 million production target will not be met due to the parts shortage caused by the global semiconductor supply gap.
On the other hand, the company announced that it will temporarily stop 11 production lines at its 8 facilities in Japan in February.
Thus, Toyota's February 2022 production target will decrease by 150 thousand.
