SSAB expands the Strenx® certified fabricator network to the Netherlands

Companies included in the Strenx® certified fabricator network consist of manufacturers with strong technical know-how and extensive practical experience in working with SSAB’s Strenx® performance steel. Through this network, SSAB aims to promote a more efficient, innovative, and sustainable use of high-strength steel.

Within this scope, SSAB has added Netherlands-based Joop van Zanten BV to the network as a Strenx® certified fabricator. The company was emphasized to have demonstrated consistent performance across its operations, particularly in terms of quality, innovation, and sustainability.

In a statement, SSAB stated that certified fabricators deliver products that meet the highest industry standards, providing customers with reliable, high-performance steel components across a wide range of applications. The company also emphasized that these fabricators have a strong track record of integrating new technologies into their processes to improve efficiency, reduce environmental impact, and enhance product performance.

The Strenx® certification also represents a shared commitment to sustainable manufacturing. Network members focus on reducing their environmental footprint, implementing energy-efficient production processes, and expanding the use of SSAB’s environmentally friendly steel products.

As part of the initiative, SSAB will provide certified fabricators with advanced training programs, technical support, and exclusive access to the latest innovations in steel materials. Through this effort, the company aims to foster innovation across the sector and further raise standards in structural steel fabrication.

Commenting on the launch of the network in the Netherlands, SSAB customer networks director Sara Maltén stated that the company is pleased to expand the Strenx® certified fabricator network into new markets, emphasizing that the initiative brings together some of the most capable companies in the sector to develop innovative solutions and create an ecosystem that advances excellence in steel fabrication.
