According to media reports, the German Wuppermann Group announced that it will install a hot-wide strip pickling and hot-dip galvanising (HDG) line at its new service centre in the Hungarian town of Győr-Gönyű,
The new line will have a processing capacity of 500,000 tonnes per year and the strip widths to be produced will be between 400 mm and 1,650 mm with thicknesses ranging from 1 to 6 mm.
The Wuppermann Group supplies wide and slit HDG sliver throughout Europe and as far as the USA.
The Group's business activities are divided into three business units: Flat Products, Technical Products and Service & Consultancy.
