Flat steel exports of Türkiye increased by 70.5% in January-March period

SteelRadar has compiled data from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) and reported that Türkiye's flat steel exports increased by 63.9% compared to the same month of the previous year in March 2024, rising from 308,310 tons to 505,290 tons. It increased by 43% compared to the previous month.

In January-March period, total flat steel exports increased by 70.5% compared to the same period of the previous year, rising from 702,490 tons to 1,197,467 tons.

The country to which Türkiye exported the most flat steel in March was Spain with 71,565 tons, followed by Italy with 61,371.5 tons, Greece with 56,053.2 tons, Egypt with 40,727 tons and Canada with 39,641.6 tons.
